James Deane flies with BMW M3N5 in Finland

We have seen quite a few rally drivers in the drift scene lately, but what happens when one of the world’s best drifters takes the wheel of a screaming BMW M3 on a Finnish rally stage? Crazy jumps happen – a lot of them

We cannot even describe how amazing those two days were with James Deane. flying flat out through the Finnish forest. Drifting and rallying are very different, but both the gearbox and the dampers – whether it is a 1,000+ hp drift car or a rally car making 30+ metre jumps – must work perfectly, whatever the conditions. James is proving that now in his Mustang RTR, and we proved it with the BMW M3 in Finland, with the help of Jukka Hara and Dogbox Oy.

The wild jumps were not the only highlight – we were honoured to welcome James and his team for the first time to the Samsonas Motorsport factory, to show him where the magic happens.
